We will be performing high priority maintenance on a system related to our August 26 major outage. This maintenance work will require a thirty minute outage, and the site will be put into maintenance mode during this period. While in maintenance mode the Sign and Fax APIs will return a HTTP 503 code.

The Forms API will be unaffected. Authenticating into Forms, document previews, and adding attachments will be affected during this work.

Our investigations after the August 26 event revealed additional areas where that type of event might happen again. This maintenance outage is needed to fully remediate these additional areas of concern.

This scheduled maintenance affected: Core (Send signature requests, Finished document delivery, Receive faxes), Web (Document signing through Dropbox Sign and Fax, Fax sending through Dropbox Fax, Embedded signing through Dropbox Sign), API (API callbacks from Dropbox Sign), and Integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot).
